    Overview

The European Partnership for an Innovative Campus Unifying Regions (EPICUR) is an alliance of European universities launched in 2019. It was created following a call for proposals from the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme to promote transnational cooperation. The alliance brings together nine universities from seven countries: France, Germany, Austria, Greece, Denmark, the Netherlands and Poland. EPICUR aims to boost student and teaching mobility, develop joint educational programmes and support innovative research projects across Europe.

    Key figures

    • Over 200 courses
    • Over 200 teachers
    • Over 500 students each year

    Missions

The EPICUR alliance focuses its actions around six key missions:

    • Deepening and broadening the European learning experience
    • Boosting research and innovation
    • Advancing societal engagement
    • Encouraging digital transformation
    • Making international mobility accessible to all
    • Developing inclusive and agile governance structures

    Opportunities for the university community

Students at the EPICUR universities benefit from innovative mobility opportunities. They can take courses offered by the nine partner universities in person, online or in hybrid format through an inter-university digital campus

The EPICUR Teaching and Learning Centre allows teaching staff across the alliance to share experiences and develop their skills in international and intercultural teaching.

The EPICUR Hubs offer learning, training and networking opportunities aimed at Master's students looking to pursue a career in research and at early career researchers.

EPICUR Seed Funding provides start-up support for promising collaborative research projects involving at least three partners from three different countries within the EPICUR alliance. The funding encourages international collaboration and helps bring teaching and research closer together.
