The University of Strasbourg offers over 900 continuing education training courses. Whether through national degrees (Diplômes d'État), university degrees or short customised training, the Continuing Education Office (Service Formation Continue – SFC) offers a solution to meet every need and supports you in creating and putting into practice your education plan.

Have your skills and experience certified

The University of Strasbourg offers the following four options for validating your skills and experience:

  1.  Certification of Past Experience (Validation des acquis de l'expérience – VAE): enables you to obtain a degree that corresponds to the skills and experience you have gained through work.
  2. Certification of Higher Education (Validation des études supérieures – VES): enables you to obtain all or part of a degree if you have studied in France (as part of a non-degree course) or abroad. You will be able to enrol in higher education studies or obtain an official diploma recognised on the job market.
  3. Certification of Previous Studies (Validation d'acquis d'études): enables the recognition of studies that you have already completed (in France or abroad) and are related to the diploma that you would like to acquire.
  4. Certification of Personal and Professional Experience (Validation des acquis personnels et professionnels – VAPP): enables the recognition of your personal, professional and voluntary experience (in France or abroad) related to the diploma that you would like to acquire.
