Overview
Eucor - The European Campus is an alliance of five universities in the border region between Germany, France and Switzerland. Eucor brings together students, researchers and staff from its five member universities to share knowledge and collaborate across borders. Together, they create a world-class academic and scientific network with an international reach.
Over the coming years, Eucor will focus on four key areas:
- Personalised medicine
- Quantum science and technology
- Sustainable development
- European identities
Eucor – The European Campus is open to the entire university community of its five member universities, promoting cross-border cooperation in teaching and research. Students at member universities can:
- Take individual courses or spend one or two semesters at another member university
- Participate in cross-border programmes and training
- Receive support to find internships or jobs in any of the three countries in the region
- Enjoy a cross-border student life experience
- Access libraries and campus restaurants at all member universities
PhD students at member universities can also:
- Write their thesis in cotutelle (joint supervision by two universities)
- Take part in a cross-border doctoral programme
- Follow interdisciplinary training courses at member universities
- Access member universities' libraries
- Receive support for pursuing a trinational career
Staff from member universities can:
- Receive financial support for cross-border projects
- Take part in mobility opportunities
- Join scientific and professional networks
- Access member universities' libraries
