Overview
The National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (Institut national de recherche pour l'agriculture, l'alimentation et l'environnement – INRAE) is a public research organisation dedicated to scientific research in these three fields. Its Grand Est Centre in Colmar conducts research programmes for sustainable viticulture, while the Grand Est Centre in Nancy focuses on sustainable bioeconomy research.
The University of Strasbourg and INRAE share several laboratories in Colmar, Nancy and Strasbourg.
