Overview
The Institute for Educational Development and Innovation (Institut de développement et d'innovation pédagogiques – IDIP) actively supports teaching innovation and student learning through five core missions:
- Equipping lecturers and teaching staff with tools and approaches for higher-education teaching
- Supporting teaching projects and initiatives led by faculties, teams and individual staff members
- Encouraging innovation and transformation of teaching and learning practices
- Contributing to research on higher-education teaching and student success
- Developing initiatives that promote student success
Created in 2013 at the University of Strasbourg with support from the Investissements d’avenir programme, the IDIP team continuously develops its initiatives to support student success and strengthen the professional development of teaching and research staff across the university.
