What is the objective of the institutions' partnership?

  • To establish a comprehensive curricular overview of higher education in Alsace with a clear offer for students and their families
  • To help students from diverse backgrounds to succeed
  • To create closer ties among faculty, students, administrative staff, companies and local authorities
  • To reinforce the scientific excellence and attractiveness of the member institutions in Alsace
  • To enhance the region's influence within the Rhine area and Europe, and strengthen the international standing of Alsatian academic institutions
  • To bring together respective strengths and assets, and position Alsace as a driver of cross-disciplinary projects

How does it work?

To enhance the recognition and visibility of the partnership and for the members to be represented by a single voice on their joint projects, the member institutions created a shared identity with a unified logo.  A steering committee was also put in place to bring together the members.

The terms and conditions of the member institutions' shared strategy have been set out in a number of agreements.
