If you have not completed your enrolment at the University of Strasbourg and are waiting to pay your tuition fees, complete the following form and send it by email to your faculty's Academic Administration Office (scolarité).
Enrolment at the University of Strasbourg is usually for the full academic year and considered final. If you wish to leave the university:
- Before 31 October 2025, submit a standard cancellation request (this applies even if you are a scholarship holder or apprentice)
- After 31 October 2025, submit a late cancellation request

Important note: If you submit your cancellation request from 1 November onwards, it will be reviewed by the Fee Exemption Committee. You will receive a decision by post.
If you are experiencing financial difficulties, you may be eligible for a tuition fee exemption, depending on your situation. The eligibility criteria for exemption requests are the same as those for means-tested scholarships awarded by the Regional Centre for University and Student Services (Centre régional des œuvres universitaires et scolaires – Crous).

- Your transcript from the previous year
- Proof of your financial situation (your tax return, and if applicable, that of your spouse or parents)
- Any other documents that help explain your circumstances
If you fall into one of the situations listed below, please complete the form that applies to you and send it to the address given on the application form, together with the required supporting documents, before the deadline stated. You will be refunded once you submit a request and the documents that confirm your situation.
You receive a state-funded higher education grant from the Regional Centre for University and Student Services (Centre régional des œuvres universitaires et scolaires – Crous), but you were unable to provide your provisional grant notification when you enrolled. You therefore paid the tuition fees upfront:
You have completed at least 100 hours of work at the University of Strasbourg as a temporary staff member between 1 August 2024 and 31 July 2025, or between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2026.
You are an apprentice under an apprenticeship contract between the University of Strasbourg and a training an apprenticeship training centre (centre de formation à l'apprentissage – CFA):
You are a student on a work-study contract:
You are permanent staff or the child of permanent staff at the University of Strasbourg:

To continue your studies at another French university, you will need to request an academic record transfer. To do so, complete the transfer request form below and send it to your Academic Administration Office (scolarité).
