The aim of the course is to give a general background on the main changes in English law and to enable the students to translate from English to French various types of texts concerning the English legal system: legislation, judicial decisions, academic writings.The course is divided in four parts : the legal implications of the Brexit, the protection of fundamental rights, judicial proceedings and Britain in international organisations. The students will be asked to prepare short presentations on those topics and to translate legal texts.
