Objectives in terms of knowledge (course content):
  • The objective of this course is the understanding of metabolic pathways, their role in cell signaling and applications in the Metabolic Engineering.

  • They are studied the metabolic pathways (glycolysis, gluconeogenesis, tricarboxylic acid cycle, oxidative phosphorylation and fatty acids), their interconnections and regulation.
  •  
  • Based on the knowledge already acquired, and on innovative technological aspects, this course aims to provide the necessary tools to conduct a project in the field of biotechnology

Objectives in terms of skills :
Acquisition of basic scientific knowledge and intellectual and conceptual tools
