Office automation
Represent the graph associated with a series of measurements using a spreadsheet. Create a presentation. Exploit a series of measurements dependent of a physical quantity : histogram, mean and standard deviation. Use scientific calculator

Present written content
Practical work report writing. Follow basic rules for clarity (write on lines, highlight results, use ruler, different colors,…). Make proper schematic to describe a situation.

Present oral content
Structure ideas in an efficient presentation format. Identify and highlight impactant information and adapt it to the public. Prepare oral notes. Train for presentation. Choose appropriate text, images, graphs,… while staying away from plagiarism. Manage posture, gesture, voice, timing and stress. Being confident, transfer emotions.

Laboratory behaviors
Learn the basic rules of security. Learn how to recognize reagents. The waste management. Learn the basi first aid behaviors in case of accident

Present written content during Pws
How to write an experimental procedure. How to use a notebook with efficiency during a Practical Work. How to find and read scientific paper.

Relationship with University
How to address to a teacher and administration staff. Write official correspondence (emails). Use education platforms, e.g. Teams and Moodle.

Process of Learning
Learning by doing: not only by listening, watching or reading. Learning by struggle: understand and redo examples, try to solve before ask (trial and error), ask questions based on your failures. Discussion on differences between high school and university.

Basic behaviors
Bring adequate material for lectures, classes and practical works. Take efficient notes from lecture and classes. Work efficiently at home (le arning curve, “name I have forgotten” method).

How to recognize plagiarism. How to avoid it
